FAQs
Where do the stem cells come from?
The umbilical cord stem cell and regenerative products are obtained from umbilical cord tissue from full-term live deliveries after receiving consent from the donating parents. The donated tissue and cells undergo extensive medical testing to ensure safety.
Are stem cells safe?
Our stem cells are processed and stored in accordance with the American Association of Tissue Banks (AATB) and FDA requirements. Research has shown regenerative cell products, including mesenchymal stem cells, to be effective in helping to repair joint damage and reduce inflammation.
How are stem cells administered?
Depending on your individual needs, you may receive treatment via intramuscular injection or directly into the joint space. Your regenerative medicine specialist will discuss your particular treatment method with you before you receive treatment.
Am I a good candidate for regenerative medicine?
If you are looking for a more natural solution towards regenerating the body, we recommend you consult with one of our Regenerative Medicine Experts to discuss your specific issues.
What is the cost of regenerative medicine?
The cost of care can range widely depending on the individual and their specific goals and needs. The average costs are much more affordable than people imagine.
Will insurance cover this?
Currently, no insurance company will cover regenerative medicine outside of bone marrow transplants. We do, however, offer convenient payment plans for you at Reclaim Health Group.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes, we currently offer payment plans for patients at all of our Reclaim Health Group locations.
What conditions do you help?
We are currently only able to provide care for orthopedic injuries and chronic pain. Click HERE for a complete list of areas that may be helped.
Are there certain medications that can interfere?
Yes, certain medications and supplements may reduce the number of stem cells or interfere with your results. You can speak with your regenerative medicine specialist about any prescription medications or supplements you are taking at the time of your consultation.
Are there any side effects?
In a very small percentage of patients, we occasionally see a minor reaction of flu-like symptoms. This typically does not last more than 24-48 hours. This demonstrates the cells’ anti-inflammatory and immune-privileged potential.
